CMD Congress Management GmbH Dresden takes the protection of your personal data very serious. We are handling your personal data confidential and in accordance with the general data protection regulations.

In the following we inform about the way and purpose of the processing of your personal data when using our website, as well as the usage of personal data of clients and business partners of CMD Congress Management GmbH Dresden.

 

§ 1 Definition

Pursuant to Art. 4 Para. 1 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (following referred to DS-GVO), personal data are all information relating to an identified person or identifiable natural person. These are e.g. name, address, email address, location data or information about user behavior.

The processing of personal data involves collecting, organizing, storing, adapting or modifying, selecting, requesting, using, disclosing through transmission, dissemination or any other means of providing, linking, the restriction, the deletion or the annihilation.

 

§ 2 Responsible Person

The person responsible pursuant to Art. 4 Para. 7 of the Basic EU Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO), i. e. the purpose and means of processing personal data is decided by

§ 3 Contact via the website

When you contact us by email or telephone your personal data (like email address, if necessary name and telephone number) provided by you by email or by telephone will be saved by us. We will save your personal information you have submitted on a voluntary basis to process your request or to contact you. This is also our legitimate interest in the processing of this data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. There is no transfer of your personal data to third parties.

The legal basis for the processing of the above-mentioned data is Art. 6 Para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. If the contact is intended to conclude a contract, Art. 6 Para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DS-GVO is now legal basis for processing.

To answer the contact requests the collected data will be deleted as soon as the storage is no longer required. If there is a statutory retention requirement, processing will be restricted.

 

§ 4 Collection of personal data when you visit our website

a) When using the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. The following data is collected and stored in the log files of our server:

• IP address
• date and time of the request
• Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
• Content of the request (specific page)
• Access status/HTTP status code
• the amount of data transferred in each case
• Website from which the request comes
• Browser
• Operating system and its interface
• Language and version of the browser software.

There is no storage of this data together with other personal data

b) When using this general data and information, we draw no conclusions about you as the person concerned. This information is needed to correctly display the contents of our website in order to ensure the functionality of the website, to optimize the website and to ensure the stability and security of our information technology systems. For these purposes, our legitimate interest is in the processing of data according to Art. 6 Para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data is Art. 6 Para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purposes of its collection. If data is used to provide the website, it will be deleted when our website is closed. The data stored in log files will be deleted at the latest after 7 days.

c) Use of cookies: In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk in the browser you use and through which certain information flows to the place that sets the cookie (here by us). Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet more user-friendly, safer and effective overall.

This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functioning of which are explained below:

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This includes in particular the session cookies. § 5 Privacy information for clients and other business partners

We collect and process personal data of our clients or business partners only as far as it is necessary for the implementation of the order or other business relationships and for the mutual fulfillment of obligations arising from the contract or business relationship.

For this purpose, we collect from our clients or business partners in particular core data, such as name, email address, address and telephone number of the contact persons, company/institution.

The collection of this data is carried out for correspondence with our clients or business partners, for adequate service provision and invoicing. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 p. 1 lit. b) DS-GVO.

A transfer of the personal data of our clients or business partners to third parties will only take place if the data transmission has been contractually agreed, the corresponding consent of the client or business partner is present or we are obliged to do so. In this sense, we pass on the data of the clients to external event service providers or business partners, for example the ICD (Maritim Hotel & International Congress Center Dresden), whose inclusion is necessary to complete the contract.

We delete the personal data of our clients or business partners after termination of the contract under consideration of the tax and commercial legal storage and documentation obligations (HGB, StGB, AO), unless data must be kept beyond to assert any warranty or other legal claims.

Further information on your rights can be found under § 6 of this privacy policy. There you will learn more about your right to information, correction, deletion, limitation of processing, data portability, complaint and revocation of your consent as well as your right of objection.
 

§ 6 Your rights

You have the following rights towards us with regard to your personal data:

• right to information, Art. 15 DS-GVO
• right to correction or deletion, Art. 16 and 17 DS-GVO
• right to limitation of processing, Art. 18 DS-GVO
• right of opposition to the processing, Art. 21 DS-GV
• right to data transferability. Art. 20 DS-GVO

You also have the right to complain about us to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us, Art. 77 DS-GVO.

Any consent given by you to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time in the future. The legality of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation is not affected by the revocation.

 

§ 7 Right to revoke according to Art. 21 DS-GVO
